D5 Workflow Frequently Asked Questions
What are the minimum requirements? ▾
GPU: NVIDIA GTX 1060 (6GB), AMD RX 6400, or Intel Arc A3.
OS: Windows 10 v1809 or higher.
Note: Ray tracing support is mandatory. Cards like the GTX 1050 or 1650 are not supported because they lack DXR (DirectX Raytracing) capabilities.
What are the recommended specs for professional work? ▾
GPU: NVIDIA RTX 3060 (Ti) or higher.
RAM: 32GB (16GB*2) DDR4.
CPU: Intel Core i5-11400 or AMD Ryzen 5 3600.
Does D5 Render run on Mac? ▾
No. D5 is based on Windows DirectX 12 technology. While there are plans to support more users in the future, there is currently no native Mac version or estimated release date.
Is VRAM or RAM more important? ▾
VRAM (Video RAM) is the priority. It determines the resolution and smoothness of previews and the complexity of scenes the software can handle.
